NEW Philips Hue, connected directly
Pair your Hue bridge right in the app for local control of every Hue light, including dynamic effects (candle, fire, sparkle) that HomeKit can't trigger on its own. Changes made from the Hue app, wall dimmers, or automations show up instantly. Hue Sync Box owners get bridge status and HDMI input switching right on the TV tile.
NEW Guest Access, a door code you can actually hand someone
Create a time-boxed pass for a guest, cleaner, or renter: a door code plus any lights or scenes you choose, all through a link, no app or Apple ID required on their end. Anyone can open and use a pass you send them for free; sharing your own home is a one-time unlock.
NEW Your Day, an end-of-day recap
A short daily summary lands in your Activity feed and as an evening notification: what ran, what cycled, which doors opened, how much energy you used, and your average indoor temperature.
NEW Appliance Live Activity
Washer, dryer, and dishwasher cycles now show a live countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, updating as the cycle progresses.

IMPROVED One setup, every device
Connect SmartThings, Philips Hue, your Sync Box, Flo, or your utility on one device and they show up on the rest with no re-pairing. Your preferences come along too: notifications, favorites, Away Mode, filters, and the way you have things arranged. It all rides your own iCloud Keychain, so there is no account to make and nothing is stored on our servers. Screen-specific sizing stays local to each device on purpose.
IMPROVED Pair Vault syncs too
Your stored pairing codes now sync across devices with iCloud Sync on, and a fresh install or a second device pulls in what's already there.
FIXED quiet bugs, fixed
Widget taps now actually open the right screen, ISP outage alerts fire correctly, scene schedules delete cleanly, CarPlay can open and close your garage, and a background monitoring bug that could leave Home Watch permanently dead after a lapsed trial is resolved. Notification action buttons (including Away Mode's Lock Up) no longer go silent on a cold launch, and a guest pass "revoked" message can no longer show while the code still works.
UNDER THE HOOD
Device names are anonymized before anything reaches our server unless you've opted into telemetry, HomeKit permission checks no longer stall for 25 seconds on a denial, and background and foreground activity logging no longer double up the same event.

Is there a subscription?
No. You buy a tool once and own it. Nothing renews, nothing expires.

What is Console?
