Samsung's platform handles a wide range of device types and works well as a hub for devices that don't natively support Apple or Google.

SmartThings is one of the most flexible smart home platforms available — it supports a huge range of Zigbee, Z-Wave, and Wi-Fi devices that might not have native support on Apple Home or Google Home. I use it alongside my primary platforms for specific devices where SmartThings offers better integration or local processing.
Everything on this list I've personally tested with SmartThings. I note where SmartThings is the best integration option for a given device versus where it's a secondary option. If a device works better on another platform I use daily, I'll say so.
