What's free, and what's Pro?
Everything but Pro is free, forever, with no account and no ads: saving recipes from anywhere, planning the week with Apple's own models on the phone, the list in aisle order and the shop walk, the hands-free cook-along with timers on the lock screen, the Action Button and Siri shortcuts, notes, ratings and your own photo after a cook, the week's calorie and protein total, menu PDFs for the fridge door, and the recipe swap. Pro adds live Kroger shelf prices on your list and the whole list to your Kroger cart in one tap, product search and barcode scan priced at every store you use, the full nutrition label on every recipe and the week's whole table, your past orders read back to you, and your own Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini key.
Is there a subscription?
Pro comes three ways, and the app is the same whichever you choose: $44.99 a year or $6.99 a month, each with fourteen days free first, or $99.99 once, yours for good with no renewal ever. Family Sharing is on for all three, so one purchase covers the household.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel there and Pro keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for. The one-time purchase never renews, so there is nothing to cancel. Refunds go through Apple as well, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. If you connect a store, you sign into that store's own website inside the app, with your own account, and that sign-in stays on your phone.
Where does my data live?
On your phone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage that only you can read. We keep no record of who you are or what you do: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The one thing our own service remembers is which stores are near a zip code, for a day, so the store finder stays fast. The privacy policy says the rest in plain words.
What leaves the phone when it plans the week?
The week is planned by Apple's own models, on the phone or in Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which is built so that nobody, Apple included, can read your request. A recipe link you paste is fetched from that website the way a browser would fetch it. If you add your own AI key, the app tells you exactly what goes to that provider. Nothing about you comes to us.
Which stores show prices?
Live prices come from Kroger itself, for the Kroger family of stores: Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Smith's, Fry's, QFC and the rest, once you pick yours. Walmart, Costco, Publix and Albertsons prices ride along where you are signed into your own account, as a bonus. Costco and Albertsons show prices but do not share past orders yet.
What if my store is not one of those?
Everything still works. The list, the aisle order, the shop walk and the cook-along never needed a price. Without a store you plan and shop the way you already do, and the list is whole.
Where is my grocery list?
In Apple's Reminders, in a list you choose, so you can share it with your family the way you already share Reminders, and it is there even when the app is closed. If it goes missing, check that Reminders access is on in Settings and that your chosen list still exists.
What is the swap?
A board in the Recipes tab of dinners other cooks shared, newest first, none of them signed. Save one to your shelf, or put up one of yours without your name on it. Nobody, including us, can see who posted what. Report anything that is not a recipe and it disappears for you at once, and we take a look.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. iPhone and iPad, on iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 and later, and your shelf rides your own iCloud between them.
How do I delete my data?
Remove recipes and photos in the app, delete the app to remove what is on the phone, and manage or delete its iCloud data in Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Storage. Past orders the app read can be forgotten on the Past Orders screen, whether or not you still have Pro.
